24 hours and one camera later…

A cheap flight and a day off let me hop back to Chicago on Christmas Day to catch up with an old friend and take some pictures around town as locals and tourists enjoyed their holiday.

I had decided ahead of time that I was only going to shoot B&W, so having set the photo style to “monochrome” I got to looking. And I realized, as all B&W photographers do, that shooting in this way, with only light and composition as your levers, lets you see the world quite differently.
