Sedona

Nestled in the northern part of the Verde Valley, Sedona is a beautiful mountain town situated within the red sandstone mountains and buttes of the Coconino National Forest. Extensive state and federal protected lands ring the towns of Sedona and Oak Creek, and trails in these areas lead to stunning vistas. In particular, the tinting of the rock formations by the rising and setting sun allows for some lovely interplay of light, texture, and color along the faces of the sedimentary edifices.
